The last issue of 2023 was created with the aim of presenting the three laureates of the National Design Award. At the beginning of the year, we decided that we would commemorate the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Slovak Republic with articles in which we would return in our memories to coexistence with the Czechs in one state arrangement. We prepared articles that brought the past and present togetherness to us through design.

"7 stories, 54 railway stations, 151 large-format color photographs. In his latest book, photographer Peter Korček captures the colourful but disappearing world of old railway stations in Slovakia.

Architecturally unique buildings decorated with monumental art are disappearing under the onslaught of visual smog, cheap renovations and growing families of indoor plants. Just like the stations, which are often a kind of collage of opposites, seven different authors, each with their own style, will guide you through our country from west to east. Tamara Šimončíková Heribanová, Andrej Dorsian Kiszling, Katarína Barošová, Marek Adamov, Tomáš Vizingr, Agda Bavi Pain and Michal Hvorecký will join you in the wagons with their stories for a moment.
