Bio-vases are the result of collaboration. Mira Podmanická is dedicated to sculpture, object and installation. Markéta Nováková is dedicated to the design of utilitarian objects – she creates interior accessories and tableware accessories from porcelain. This collection also mixes their two approaches, design work with porcelain combined with a plastic sculptural process. The growing decor on individual vases is made up of cast plants and insects. The vases resemble a three-dimensional herbarium, but also floral still lifes – natura morta.

The collection consisting of Berry and Pretty Fatty vases is characterized by functionality and minimalist design. It was created as an author's collection, the ambition of which was to design and produce a high-quality and affordable handmade product. All vases were made in several colours in the Moravian glassworks Cerva Bohemia.
