The shape of the ring from the USUS collection is modeled by hand and then the ring is cast from silver and polished to a high shine. The USUS collection is inspired by the curves of modeling spatulas. In some cases, jewellery directly bears the morphology of spatulas or is inspired by their shapes. "Awry" means failed, flawed, twisted. The collection was inspired by failed, twisted pieces of wax, which the author molded into the desired shape of the jewellery after casting. A mistake eventually became a wearable piece of jewelry. The name refers both to the original mistake from which the collection was created, as well as to a twisted perspective on the mistakes that each of us makes and that we can easily turn into our decoration.
