After graduating from Prague's AAAD in 2014, Matěj Polách gained experience as a designer for the legendary porcelain manufacturer G. Benedikt in Karlovy Vary, before moving back to his alma mater in 2017, where he has since been working as a technological assistant at the Ceramics and Porcelain studio. In recent years, his individual work has been presented in the Kvalitář gallery, at the Křehký Mikulov Art Design festival and at Designblok. In his work, he oscillates from ceramic sculpture to utilitarian objects, but always with an emphasis on plasticity and the level of craftsmanship.
