The Areolis Germinis series is a natural response to a author's longer-lasting project/research which included the creation of a collection of paintings and lectures on the topic of colour theory. Completion of this project and final "release" from deep concentration and observance of certain rules of research resulted in a relaxed experimental position of the author's work. The Latin name Areolis germinis(trans. germination) becomes a direct metaphor for new variations and new ways of finding self-expression that the author brings to the audience.
