Designum

The last issue of 2023 was created with the aim of presenting the three laureates of the National Design Award. At the beginning of the year, we decided that we would commemorate the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Slovak Republic with articles in which we would return in our memories to coexistence with the Czechs in one state arrangement. We prepared articles that brought the past and present togetherness to us through design.

The third issue of Designum arrives at the beginning of autumn. The National Design Award celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. This year's visual identity, whose authors are Aurélia Garová, Tereza Maco and Jozef Sklenka, also commemorates this jubilee. Barbora Krejčová brings the interview with the three authors. Most of the content of the Current news section talks about exhibitions at home and abroad. The issue contains interesting interviews, reviews and evaluations of exhibitions as well as a traditional English summary.
