OVÉ PICTURES are Michaela Čopíková and Veronika Obertová. They create animations, films, design, and artworks in both traditional and new media. Their works have been shown at many international festivals and have won awards in Slovakia and abroad. Their most successful animated films and works include Nina (short film, 2014), motion design for the FM_Rádia: Radio_Head Awards (2010 - 2020), TV spots for the Slovak Film Week festival (2017, 2018), and animations for the documentary series PRVÁ (2015 - 2020). They created the interactive exhibition Searching for Beauty, which was shown in seven European cities and attracted tens of thousands of visitors. 

The presented drawings followed the collections from the exhibitions Soft-boiled (2023), Storification (2019, Ateliér XIII) and Even a stone flows from Šamorín synagogue from 2022, when, together with the dioramas that formed the main part of these exhibitions, preparatory sketches and drawings that were independent and related through motifs were also exhibited. In addition to the drawings, the exhibition was complemented by separate objects – dioramas working with figures from Ové iconography.
