Mira Podmanická is a sculptor. She creates site-specific installations mainly from or using textiles and objects from various materials. She is dedicated to the theme of space, both interior and exterior, and its perception not only with the eyes, but with all the senses. She likes to experiment and collaborate. 

The plant exhibition HERBACEA presents a selection from the wider HERBARIUM cycle created over several years by collecting, pressing and gradually drawing and stitching plants onto A4 format. The author searches for plants in her surroundings in Bratislava or Liptov. Some exceptional pieces are imported from trips abroad. Hidden treasures by roads, sidewalks, hidden in the grass, unknown and recognized - on the one hand, they document our love, respect or need to protect, on the other hand, our recklessness and inattention to nature.
