For some, paste paint or metallic paint was also used, but mainly a high-quality background in the form of paper or canvas.

The work from Marek Ormandík's current work is part of the Bouquets series. Not the detail, but the whole is important, the surface of the painting is eruptive, created with dramatic, juicy handwriting, quivering lines, traces of flowing colors.

Here, the paper reveals itself in its naked form. Paintings on paper are not preparatory sketches. They are independent originals, they capture the processes and topics on which the author works during individual series.
