A unique scarf by Palava studio. Palava studio is a sub-brand of the Slovak designer Magdaléna Seppová. The phrase "what a palava" means chaos, disorder or excess activity. The main mission of the brand is to inspire people not to be afraid of imperfections and chaos in everyday life because the best ideas are often born from these exact situations. Scarves are knitted using three- or two-colour jacquard technology on industrial knitting machines. No textile waste was created during knitting. The patterns on the scarves were created by digitally editing photos and paintings that inspired the author in a given period of her life. The GRID scarf pattern was created in collaboration with graphic designer Rob Púček. Scarves do not seem to be united by a single visual motif but rather by a similar approach to creating pattern designs. A scarf is not just an accessory, it rather has the function of a fully-fledged part of the outfit.

FLAME porcelain functional objects are inspired by creative fire, light, power and the courage to change. The function of the object can vary from a sculpture complementing the interior to a hiding place for any small thing or treasure as FLAME can be also used as an openable box. FLAME is created using the classic technique of pouring porcelain mass into a plaster mold, the surface of which was subsequently modified with a layer of noble metal.

One of a kind piece. Designers accidentally created unique jewellery from originally leftover material that came from the creation of interior accessories - rings, bracelets and, over time, even Stones earrings made of a unique artificial stone. Hi-macs artificial stone is one of the most durable materials with its specific structure and colour. The jewellery is minimalist, characterized by geometry and clean lines and is very easy to maintain.

slávica has merch! We love paper and functional, timeless design and therefore, it was no coincidence that our first merch would be pencils. In a bag, in a pencil case, you can still carry it with you and use it to write down unexpected thoughts. The pencils were designed and produced by the Czech graphic studio VOALA. Timeless black is dipped in our colors – soft pink and white. The colour range is completed by the white logo of slávica.

Black lines is one of 200 drawings that were part of the author's bachelor's thesis called Line by line, where he devoted himself to experiencing the present moment through a repetitive drawing method by repeating straight lines.

Unique glass with a modern "squeezed" design is a continuation of the Squeezer glass, but this time in modern dark colour.

Sahara 2014 digital print is part of the Homeland photography cycle, the central theme of which is the aspect of nationalism in each of us. It tries to reflect the need for a national identity and a portrait of a crumbling society. It offers an insight into the current social mood rather than a representation of traditions and folklore. The photo was captured in the military space in Záhorie where volunteers reconstructed the battle of insurgents with German soldiers near Krupina in 1944. Each print is signed and numbered by the author. Reproduction is limited to 30 pieces.

Minimalistic, modern desk lamp by Mach & Krovina. ELA has diffused light and a height adjusted to create ideal conditions for working at a desk. It is handmade from sanded and surface-treated beech plywood. Both the power switch and the power connector are intentionally placed on the back of the lamp arm so that they don't visually interfere or clash with any surface you place the lamp on.

Risoprint from the Memory Lane series follows the Drops and Fallen Petals series. The author presents contemporary free graphic work which is based on her daily experiences, memories from her travels, but also from the things that surround her. Each graphic is signed and numbered by the author.

C20 is a series of book pocket guides that take you through the architecture of the 20th century. The publication serves as a unique tourist guide for the increasingly popular travel to see modern architecture. Thanks to its attractive and accessible format, it increases awareness of the architectural qualities of the last century and strengthens interest in lesser-known buildings as well. C20 guides were created by the civil association Archimera and the artistic group Abandoned (re)creation. The C20 guide for the capital Bratislava is divided into two parts, each of which contains 50 buildings that should not remain unknown to its residents nor visitors. This part, Functional city, focuses more on buildings in the wider center of Bratislava.

Unique etched ring handcrafted from silver. The designer creates a rich structure by etching which makes each piece unique and original. The design is based on the shape of a classic signet ring but presents it in a modern, original way.

At first glance, this ring is very classic but the manual processing and the texture created by etching give it a touch of modernity and uniqueness. Each piece is a handmade original, so there might be slight deviations between them.

"As someone who literally makes a living designing words and writing, I jumped at this verse without thinking. Para's lyrics seem abstract, but at the same time they are full of meaning, open to interpretation. That is why I decided not to illustrate this verse in my graphics and I only rendered it in the form of a typographic sampler, where the words simply exist." (Ondrej Jób)

Ondrej Jób is a typeface designer currently living in Bratislava. He studied visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava and Type and Media typeface design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KABK) in the Netherlands. His main activities include the creation of commercial fonts as well as custom fonts, branding and lettering. He is also involved in research projects and software development in the field of typeface design and typography.

The print from the Teleport 2020 collection complements the well-known motifs from Planet 220. The author added a fictional legend to the stylized geometric motif on the print: A famous architectural work, strict geometry, 12 floors lined with marble, place where our history is located. The facade refers to the structure of the depository. The thick lines of the graphics refer to the massive mass of the building. You can see the Slovak National Archive from different angles of Bratislava and vice versa - you can see everywhere from the archive. Originally, the Egyptian pyramid was supposed to be built next to it, but in the end the project did not come to its end due to financial reasons. Therefore, Bratislava has only one pyramid and one archive.
