The book The Ministry of Small pleasures is the first in the Sweet Things series by Büro Milk, and due to its great success, you are now looking at its English edition. The book captures (immaterial) joys, little pleasures, and powerful experiences. Fresh sheets, operas, thinking about anything at all. When I cook and everyone enjoys it. When I get caught in the rain and no longer care. When I pet a random dog, say something without words, and fall asleep outside without a tent. How much do we really need to be happy? What can become a source of joy in our everyday lives?
A series of vases inspired by the underwater world of the ocean. The vases are hand-blown in a wooden mold from unique aquamarine glass. The unique subtle color transition in the glass is caused by the so-called colouring glass rubies, which are wrapped around the basic glass bulb when warm. The exact colour and its distribution over the surface is unique for each vase. Each piece is blown separately and its final form is always different. Each vase is handcrafted, mouth-blown into a wooden mold, hand-cut, sanded and matted to a velvety finish. Thanks to its minimalistic shape, the vase easily blends in with a bohemian and elegantly furnished apartment.
Let yourself be intoxicated by sobriety. The delicate notes of walnut promise an unusual experience which enhances the connection with juicy pineapple and the endless carefreeness of melon. The geyser of joy continues with self-possessed pink pepper and unbridled spicy cardamom. This fragrance knows that it is important to enjoy every moment as if it were the last...
BE HEDONIST.
The canvas works from this series are created using the hand embroidery technique, with which the author depicts the situations and feelings of a mother and housewife. It was during her motherhood that her work naturally led to embroidery, which she could easily do alongside her children on the playground. The manual process of creation has a therapeutic effect and results in playful, authentic works.
